Corruption in Russia: system analysis

On the basis of the system analysis of corruption as a social phenomenon, the article examines its main causes and consequences for a society as a whole, as well as for the state system and its ability to carry out an effective policy in various areas of public life. The paper present the results of the sociological survey carried out in Penza which have allowed the authors to make a number of clarifying conclusions on the issue of public sentiments and perception of corruption.
