Natural philosophy and practice, art and criticism in their complex relationships were interpreted by Russian schellingians of the first half of the 19th century, who followed the aesthetic ideals of fashionable romanticism. Their ideas have long been perceived as cutting-edge in the University academic environment, in social salons and circles, and on the pages of popular literary and scientific publications. The dilemmas of "beauty and authenticity", "personality and crowd", "artist and creativity" became the basis for their philosophical, literary and publicistic works. Special attention is given in the article the worldview of the head of Lyubomudrs, Russian schellingians, V. F. Odoevsky.
