The article is devoted to the boundary value problem for hybrid system of differential equations containing δ functions. This class of hybrid systems of differential equations takes place in the description of dynamics of mechanical systems with lumped and distributed parameters. These mechanical systems are an elastic rod with fixed edges and solids attached at it by springs. As a theoretical basis of research a unified approach to the construction of frequency equations of such systems has been proposed.
