Criminalistic characteristics of cybercrime on the territory of the Russian Federation

The article examines the criminalistic characteristics of such crimes as cybercrime, its relevance and possible ways to protect data from criminal encroachments. The author puts forward proposals for the introduction of certain protective tools into information technology objects of various spheres of society and the state, including infrastructure facilities, closed databases of state bodies, state information resources and not only.
