Article focuses on one of the elements of criminological characteristics of the crimes - the crime situation. Indicates that the crime situation in a single system combines all the elements of the mechanism of the offense, as well as the corresponding changes in physical and social environment, which is a reflection of the illegal activity or other criminal event participants under investigation. The content of this element is viewed through the prism of the material, social and psychological elements of the environment.
