Cryptocurrency as a means of conspiracy for criminal acts in legalization of drug proceeds, smuggling and illegal sale of drugs

In the article the author argues the point of view that the cryptocurrency, among the whole set of drug crimes, is most often used in the commission of legalization (laundering) of proceeds, smuggling and illegal sale of drugs. It is noted that this is so largely due to cryptocurrency features: decentralization, anonymity, crossborder and high speed of transactions, the ability to exchange for other cryptocurrencies or fiat money. The author is of the opinion that the displacement of cryptocurrency «Bitcoin» by cryptocurrencies Dah, Monero, ZCach, on the one hand, happens due to their higher conspiratorial functions, and on the other hand, by the development and implementation of special software products aimed at deanonomization of transactions with cryptocurrency, developed by companies Bitfury Group, Chainalysis Know-Your Transaction (KYT), London Elliptic.
