It is determined that the creation of concept formation in educational process of the University professional and creative skills of future engineers is a strategic goal of development of engineering education in Russia. The analysis of professional standards showed a necessity of professional and creative skills of future engineers. Criteria and indicators of formation of professional-creative skills of future engineers in terms of professional training at the university are examined. Components of model of formation of professional and creative abilities are analyzed in which the basic criteria and indicators of these skills are stated. The evaluation of all the criteria of formation of professional and creative skills in a four-level scale is analyzed. Criteria and assessment unit including criteria and indicators to determine the levels of formation of professionally-creative abilities of future engineers is presented which combines creative, additive, socio-cultural, moral and spiritual components. The scale is composed of the combined assessment of the level of formation of professionally-creative abilities of future engineers. The definition of the “formation of professional and creative abilities" is stated. Determination of criteria and assessment of the unit, including criteria and indicators to determine the levels of formation of professionally-creative abilities of future engineers is one of the objectives of the concept of formation of professional-creative skills of future engineers on the basis of acmeological approach in the educational process of the university.
