Criteria for the effectiveness of the preliminary investigation in criminal proceedings

The article discusses some issues of evaluating the effectiveness of the activities of the preliminary investigation bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. As a result of the analysis and comparison of the content of the norms of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation and the regulations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, a conclusion was made about the need to unify the criteria for the effectiveness of the work of the preliminary investigation bodies.
