The existing computer simulators in a foreign language have been analyzed in this paper. Their advantages and disadvantages through a student survey have been identified. New criteria for creating universal model of the computers simulator in a foreign language for telecommunications university students have been outlined. Actual methods of using the interactive computer simulator for classroom and out-of-class activities have been given.
