Correction of flawed translations must be based on some grammatical rules of the language of the original text A rule that may be applied to a certain type of syntactical mistakes in translations from Korean is proposed in the paper. This rule depends on a kind of formal syntactical representation (i.e. syntactical parsing) of a translated Korean sentence. The syntactical representation shows relations of syntactical dominance between lexemes of the sentence. While the process of syntactical parsing itself is not considered, examples where it can be successfully applied are listed and discussed in the paper.
