Introduction. The article dwells on the problem of safe personality culture as an alert state in the service activity of police officers. The aim is to articulate the problem of safe personality culture in the context of the alert state of a police officer. Currently, the level of complexity of risks and threats to the security of subjects of power structures has increased so much that it is impossible to predict and adequately respond to all types of dangers. The most vulnerable link of the existing security system is the personality of an officer, who is not able to be in a state of tension for a long time, due to his psycho-physiological qualities, without damage to his mental health. The problem is that traditionally in psychological theory and practice there dominates an idea of personal safety as a result of psychological, technical and other methods of ensuring such safety by special units, services and individuals, i.e. the personality acts as the object rather than the subject of various types of actual and potential types of protection. The question is raised with regard to the formation of a culture of a safe personality. Materials, Results and Discussion. Various conceptual approaches and concepts of substantiation of the essence of the concept of "culture of safe personality" as a subject are analyzed, the structure and definition of psychological culture of a safe personality being described. The formation of the culture of safe personality and its development in the conditions of heterogeneous social space is under consideration. Within the concept of psychological safety culture one of the possible states of safe activity of the personality of a law enforcement officer, the alert state, is described and analyzed. It is noted that the phenomenon of psychologically safe personality has an interdisciplinary and multidimensional character.
