Culture of harmony "he () he ()": history and meaning in today's world

The article examines the concept of harmony «Хэ (和) хэ (合)», studies its meaning, national specifics, describing its history and status in Chinese tradition. The prerequisites for the emergence of a culture of harmony in Tiantai under the influence of two key factors: social and religious. It is noted that the conceptual fusion of Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism, which existed simultaneously on a limited territory, formed the basis of the idea of harmony of the world - culture «Хэ (和) хэ (合)», and the social conflict that took place at that time determined the orientation of the new philosophy towards a pacifying worldview, its orientation towards the unity of humanity through respectful the relations of countries to each other based on the recognition of equality and the right to differences. It is noted that the causes of the modern global civilizational crisis lie in the lack of harmony in the world. Attention is drawn to the fact that the culture of «Хэ (和) хэ (合)» can become the basis for achieving balance in the world, provided that all people perceive its conceptual provisions.
