Culture as an Expression of the Essential Characteristics of Human Existence and Society in the French Personalism of Jean Lacroix and Emmanuel Mounier and in the Philosophy of Immanuel Kant

The article is devoted to the study of culture, considered by both French personalists Jean Lacroix and Emmanuel Mounier, and Immanuel Kant as an exponent of the essential characteristics of hu-man existence and society. Based on this, the comparative analysis of the main provisions of the philosophical ethical, aesthetic, anthropological and social teachings of Lacroix, Mounier and Kant is carried out within the framework of the research. Based on the results of the analysis, the following research procedures are consistently carried out. First, the role of labor and art as a means of reveal-ing the essential characteristics of human nature is being revealed. Then, the communicative and pro-gressive perspectives of culture are described in the context of the personalist and Kantian philo-sophical systems.
