Culture of information perception as a component of schoolchildren's digital literacy

Digital content is widespread in human life, so it is of interest for research in various scientific fields. The paper describes the features of digital content and classifies it according to various criteria. The most interesting digital content formats for schoolchildren are identified. The important role of digital educational content in motivating and activating students in the learning process is described. It is noted that digital educational content contributes to the creation of an enabling environment for the individualization of learning, the development of creative thinking, freedom of expression, and the diversification of educational materials. The authors argue that the formation of a culture of perception of information in digital form begins at school. The study identifies directions in preparing schoolchildren for conscious reading of digital content, its critical analysis and perception for future use in practice. Reading digital content and understanding its linguistic foundations are considered as a component of students' digital literacy. It is concluded that the conscious perception of digital content allows schoolchildren to choose the most reliable information sources, correctly interpret the facts.
