Cultural and historical objects of the Trans-Kuban branch of the "Silk Road"

The article outlines the trade route of the Trans-Kuban "Silk Road" of the early Middle Ages and the "Genoese Road" of the late Middle Ages, which passed through 11 settlements (according to Nikolay L. Kamenev). Each of the points of the route is accompanied by an archaeological or historical monument. In their turn these monuments are reflected in the author's paintings. In parallel with a brief analysis of the picture, a characteristic of the archaeological culture of the corresponding chronological period is given. A large number of monuments and paintings were created in the vicinity of the village of Novosvobodnaya on the river Fars on the segment of the trade route that passed through the territory of the Republic of Adygea. At the end of the article, the expediency of the artistic depiction of cultural and historical objects for the purposes of their protection and popularization is argued.
