Cultural scripts as a part of the cognitive substratum of the language way of thinking

The article deals with the characterization of the row of the mental categories and some ways of the modelling of the world by the language means from the perspective of the linguocognitive approach. There is shown that they define the attitude of the native speakers to the particular fragments of the existence. There was given as the example the English cultural script WAY forming the cognitive basis for the collective concept of the man’s life from its birth to death. There is demonstrated the symbolic character of the script.
