Cultural syncretism in Persian painting

Because of the geographical position Iran was always the country coming influence of various cultures, both western, and east that often conducted to synthesis in some spheres of culture. One example of such synthesis - in the field of painting - is also considered in this article. The classical Iranian painting representing the world of imagination and symbols in the middle of an era Sefevidov, in connection with expansion of communications with the European countries, underwent big changes which gradually introduced in it new style and receptions of the image and by that painting developments forever changed a course. In this article by means of a teoretiko-descriptive method definition is given to the world of imagination which is one of advantages of the Iranian painting, and then the result of influence on it of the European art and its reflection in painting of Iran is considered.
