Cultural status of music in the context of the European tradition as the musicological preparation of the teacher – musician

The future teacher of music, along with mastery of technology performance, a knowledge of the theory and methods of teaching the game they should also have a detailed and informed view about the cultural status of music. This is possible primarily in the process of development of musical-theoretical and musical-historical disciplines and necessary for the education of the interpretive culture of musiciansteachers of all disciplines. The status of music in the culture is determined, first and foremost the qualities that are attributed to it in a particular era as a special kind of art. It largely depends on the completeness and depth of the incarnation by means of music "spirit of time", that is values, due to the cultural picture of the world of a certain ethnic group in a certain period of his existence. Therefore, the analysis of the cultural status of music involves the study not only of its concrete historical forms, reflected and enshrined in special texts, but also requires a pronounced multifunctional approach. With artistic and aesthetic reflection music is closely tied to its vocational and musicological analysis, which clarifies specific issues of its historical existence, the basic laws of musical creativity, the peculiarities of musical thinking and perception, psychopedagogical aspects of the performing arts. This article offers an analysis of the ontological and cultural status of music in the context of European cultural tradition. The analysis was carried out using comparative-historical, hermeneutic methods on the basis of modern cultural ideas about the essence and nature of music.
