Cultural analysis of the phenomenon of video game creative techniques as a component of cognitive activities

The presented study aims to determine the potential for using creative techniques in cognitive activities, which are preliminarily tested and implemented through video game experiences. In the context of examining these techniques, the authors investigate the creative act, delineating its components (goal-setting, super-task, motivation, procedure) and the conditions for its realization (the manifestation of freedom experienced during gameplay sessions). The article traces how video games provide subjects with a flexible perception of new worlds, influenced by the nature of virtual content emergence. Within the realm of video game experiences, the authors identify the resource potential of factors related to the sensory-emotional spectrum, in-game motivation, and a sense of involvement. The findings of the study conclude that modern video games can be utilized as a qualitatively new form of activity aimed at fostering creative thinking among individuals and applying it within cognitive endeavors.
