Qualification requirements to technical universities graduates and professional standards in the foreign countries (the USA and Singapore)

The article analyses professional standards and qualification requirements to the technical universities graduates in the USA and Singapore. The research objective is to compare the competences included in the educational standards with the requirements stated in the professional standards and job evaluation manuals of the aforementioned countries. The authors also consider the principles and methods used in the assessment of technical higher school graduates’ readiness for professional activity and compliance of their training level with the employers’ requirements.
