The Social, Preventive and Mandatory Isolation (SPMI) declared in Argentina since March 2020 disrupted the ways in which we lived and organized the practices and routines. The management of this contingent health context implied transformations in the ways of inhabiting our homes and our bodies. In this article we propose a reflection attending to the actions carried out to create -new normality-, in particular those that include the adaptation as survival tactics. These shed light on dimensions to be observed in an upcoming post-pandemic scenario. To this end, we highlight experiences of families from middle classes and runners who reside in the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires (AMBA).
