Gender violence in pandemic as a testimony of inequity to enjoy the right of female personal integrity

This research was done trying to provide an academic contribution to demonstrate the inequity on the protection of women´s right in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. This work analyzed the raise of gender violence in pandemic as a testimony of the inequity on the development of the right to personal integrity of women. A documental investigation with a qualitative approach and following the hermeneutic method was structured to achieve this and it showed that physical and psychological attacks against women increased due to stress and other factors linked to people living together in isolation. The data found here was important to conclude that female empowerment is crucial to embrace rights and duties, as an opportunity for women to face future challenges.
