Latent drug use in population and acute drug intoxications

In this article, calculation of number of latent users of injected drugs based on number of lethal outcomes after drug intoxications has been presented. For population of Barnaul, this index constitutes 1,9, i.e. real number of users of injected drugs of opium group presumably is as two times as high than data of official statistics. This number includes latent drug users never addressing addictological help at state addictological institutions.
