The legal nature of the property liability of treasury institutions: an analysis of judicial practice

This article examines the legal status of treasury institutions and the specifics of their property liability in civil-law relations. The author focuses on the legal nature of the limited liability of such institutions and the mechanism of subsidiary liability of the respective public legal entities. Based on an analysis of judicial practice, the article identifies key issues in the enforcement of claims against treasury institutions and the contradictions between the provisions of the Civil Code and the Budget Code of the Russian Federation. The author concludes with the need to unify judicial approaches and outlines possible directions for improving the legislation.
