These challenges have prompted states to strive to develop legislative frameworks that ensure a balance between encouraging technological advancement and addressing the associated risks. This is achieved by establishing legal rules that govern the use of artificial intelligence, enabling the benefits to be harnessed, the drawbacks to be mitigated, and the protection of electronic contractual transactions and users' privacy across digital platforms to be preserved.
