Lexical units with the national and cultural component as the fragment of the Greek linguistic picture of the world

The article deals with the lexical units with the national and cultural component of the meaning (reality) allowing to enlarge the knowledge and the representations of the Greek linguistic picture of the world. The linguistic non-equivalent units are chosen by the method of the continuous sampling from the cult novel “Zorba The Greek” by N. Kazantzakis presenting a large panorama of the Greek life.
