Lexical and lexical-semantic transformations in Buryat-English translation

There are lexical, grammar and stylistic differences between the Buryat and English languages, therefore when translating from Buryat to English various translating techniques are to be used in order to achieve adequacy. Different kinds of changes and substitutions have been made, such as morphological, syntactical, semantic, stylistic and mixed ones. Additions, omissions, change of order of words have been made too. Lexical and semantic transformations are considered.
