Lexical features of spells in 12th century England

This article briefly describes the features of the lexicon of the language period using the example of texts of spells and incantations, in particular, unique lexemes, words from other languages, and cliches and key phrases are considered. Both words that have analogues in the modern language and lexemes that have fallen into disuse are taken into account. The article is based on the proposed candidate's dissertation.
