Lexicographic and psycholinguistic representation of the lexeme «soul» (based on the material of the Russian language)

This article is devoted to the comparative characteristics of the lexicographic and psycholinguistic meanings of the lexical unit "soul". In the course of the study, a generalized meaning of the word in question is proposed, based on data from lexicographic sources. The basic associative factors influencing the formation of the psycholinguistic meaning of the lexeme under study are determined. The main national and cultural distinctive features representing the ideas of the soul in the minds of representatives of the Russian ethnic group are found.
