Lexicographic description of stereotypical image of «bread»

The article deals with the creation of the project of a linguoculturological dictionary’s entry. In this regard, the possibility of designation of one of the lexical-semantic variants of the word "bread" as an independent stereotypical image that exists in the mind and caused by the cultural identity of the idea of this image is considered for the first time. In this respect, the concept of the stereotypical image is revealed, the principle of selection and structuring of the material to create a dictionary entry is presented; a specific perception of an individual meaning of the word "bread" is identified; the facts of the culture and life of the Russian people, which were the reason of certain stereotypes about bread, are described.
