Leningrad education system in school reform in the 1950s-1960s years

This article analyzes the changes in the Leningrad education in the school reform of 1958-1964's. On the basis of the first time introduced into scientific circulation of archival documents peculiarities of school reform of the Khrushchev era in the conditions of a superlarge Soviet city. The article can be useful to researchers studying the history of St. Petersburg, the Soviet society, historians of education, specializing in the study of the Soviet school history.
