The paper is devoted to copies of “Letopisec” (“Chronicle”) of Krasnokholmskiy Nikolaevkiy Anthoniev monastery (Tver’ region), an amazing literary monument of 1687, created in the 18th-19th centuries in the monastery. There are presented some results of comparative analysis of four known texts of copies - two handwritten and two printed texts. It also demonstrates how the copies relate to each other and to the only known source dated the 17th century, “Vypiska” (“Extract”) from the monastery books, which contains the same information as the “Letopisec”. A theory is offered that the most famous copy of “Letopisec”, published by the Tver’ scientist A. K. Zhiznevskiy in 1879, is based on an unknown text copy dated the 18th century. Also another theory is offered that the two monastery handwritten copies dated the 19th century are based on unknown monastery copy made by hegumen Hilarion (Maximovich) in the last third of the 18th century; and that Tver’ cleric V. P. Uspenskiy published in 1879/80 a monastery copy of Archimandrite Mark dated 1764
