The article provides a criminal law analysis of the personality of offenders involved in cyber-economic crimes. It examines socio-demographic, behavioral, and psychological characteristics of individuals who use information and communication technologies as the primary instrument of criminal activity. The study shows that digital offenders are typically socially integrated, possess suffi cient education and digital competence, which complicates early detection and reduces the effectiveness of traditional preventive measures. Rationality, algorithmic behavior, and orientation toward risk minimization form a stable model of unlawful activity. Particular attention is paid to the use of social engineering and alternative digital identities, which increase the latency of crimes and hinder identifi cation of the offender. The article concludes that consideration of these personal characteristics is essential for criminal law assessment and for developing effective countermeasures against cyber-economic offenses.
