The research provides a comparative analysis of the Oldham-Morris and Kotenev personality questionnaires conducted among 37 police psychologists. The results are presented in the form of profiles according to iceberg pattern. By the Oldham-Morris test, the indicators of dependency, schizotypal property and depression are at the top of the scale with the peak of conscientiousness. Hypervigilance and rage with the peak of optimism are at the top of iceberg pattern according to the Kotenev questionnaire. The lowest rates of sensitivity, altruism, and trouble sleeping that are at the bottom of patterns indicate the phenomenon of psychological defence, i.e. the suppression of these qualities. The Oldham-Morris personality structure is more reliable due to fewer interrelationships in comparison with the Kotenev personality structure. The analysis of correlation of the above-mentioned tests reveals that the indicator of conscientiousness is the core factor. There is no relationship between four similar scales of both questionnaires that proves their different meaning. In accordance with the Kotenev questionnaire, they are more evident in the statistical sense. The consolidation of data from both tests allows one to determine an indicative list of standard qualities for psychologists of internal affairs bodies.
