Бесплатный доступ

The aim of the research was to study personal characteristics of women with breast cancer in remission. The sample of subjects was made up of two clinical groups: women with breast cancer diagnosed before the study and women in remission for 6 months or more at the time of the study. During the research it was discovered that women with breast cancer depending on the stage of the disease (the beginning of the disease or remission) have differently expressed personal characteristics (basic beliefs, coping behavior, locus of control, resiliency, life orientation) relative to each other and relative to norms of questionnaires. The obtained data can serve as a scientific basis for developing a system of psychological support for patients with malignant neoplasms.
