Personalized regulators of the professional burnout in sports coaches and referees

Burnout in sport - is the result of some chronic stress. The aim of the research was to study the specific character of manifestations and regulators of burnout in sports coaches and referees. The results show that both coaches and referees feel their burnout but coaches demonstrate higher degree of physical overloading. Coaches and referees try to avoid situation connected with the increasing psychical overloading to prevent the burnout. But this strategy lessens their activity resultativeness, aimed at the success achievement. Coaches use also various types of psychological defence to minimize the burnout. Spontaneous ways used by coaches and referees to prevent or minimize the burnout are not enough effective. Sports coaches and referees need the development of the competence which helps to cope with the burnout.
