«The face» as a repeating main image arises almost in Zabolotsky's each poem, and bears every time the certain semantic loading. As the most significant part of human individual shape it shows, emphasizes not passing interest of the author to a life in its all displays. The person in Zabolotsky's art world is presented, first of all, through appearance, with a dominant of a Christian paradigm: «a mask - a face - a canonized image». The face promotes detection of «ideal» sense in Zabolotsky's poetic system, and the reader receives an additional opportunity «to see» breaking through chaos and darkness of an ordinary life the light of the maximum spiritual instance.
Personification, face, mask, a christian paradigm, portrait, eyes, a theme of beauty, christian ideal, a canonized image
