Linguo-allological competence: to the issue of formation of communicators’ other-image

The article deals with a new cognitive and discourse notion of Other-image as situationally conditioned process of communicators’ understanding each other. The content of the notion is based on the essence of linguo-allological component of communicative competence which is directed to the development of communicative interaction between different Others (form the Other as You to the Other as the foreigner, the representative of the other linguoculture).
