Crisis phenomena and the disunity among representatives of different countries and religious communities have become defining features of life in the modern world. The transformation of the world order is accompanied by military conflicts, growing geopolitical and economic instability, as well as increased international competition and tensions. A positive aspect of these processes is the opportunity to strengthen existing relationships and establish new ones with participants in international communication. Under these conditions, there’s a rise in migration activity among citizens, including student academic mobility. The higher education system is responding to the challenges of modern society by updating teaching approaches, principles, and technologies to ensure successful linguocultural adaptation of international students. To facilitate effective linguocultural adaptation, international students need to develop communicative skills. This process can be most efficient with proper planning of the curriculum for a given discipline, as well as through the use of artificial intelligence tools. Disciplines focused on text analysis and translation hold significant potential for the successful linguocultural adaptation of international students.
