Linguistic and cultural peculiarities of translation of regional texts in the internet discourse

The article presents a description of the concept of “Internet discourse” and examines the comparison of discourse and text. In particular, the existence of regional text in Internet discourse is studied. Some examples show the specifics of the transfer of individual lexical units that make up the linguistic and cultural features of the region about which the text is formed. Options for eliminating difficulties in transferring parts of a regional text from Russian into English are proposed.
