When translating a literary text, it is necessary to convey the stylistic features of the original text as fully as possible and retain its national and cultural nuances. Since pragmatic potential is realized differently in different languages, the translator has to use different strategies in order to achieve an equal communicative effect in the target language. Nowadays, a large amount of literary texts is translated, and the necessity of retaining the linguistic and cultural features determines the relevance of the topic of the article.
