Taking into account the conditions and peculiarities of mass media language, various criteria and goals of information presentation are distinguished. The linguistic tools used to achieve the goals of mass media differ depending on the target orientation and audience. The linguistic means of modern mass media (hereinafter referred to as mass media) vary in their contexture, emotional coloring and grammar structure. The article analyzes the language of the British mass media, identifies trends and features of the linguistic perspective used. Language tools that determine the impact on the communicant and form his interest in the material take an important place in the article.
