Linguistic-cultural type in the system of adjacent concepts

The article is devoted to the study of the position, role and significance of the theory of linguistic-cultural types in linguistics. General classifications of types were analyzed as well as two new gradings by their substantial-semantic characteristics and by their value for society were offered by author. Basic adjacent concepts were considered. The author cleared up the possibility of correlation of the term «linguistic-cultural type» with such notions as «ritual» and «identification».
