Linguistic and cultural adaptation of official website of the university of Tsukuba, Japan

The research is dedicated to the localization of official university websites, namely the website of The University of Tsukuba, Japan. The original Japanese and localized English versions of the website are considered. Examples of linguistic and cultural adaptation of the website for particular target audience are given, and the analysis of differences in its content and structure are provided. The language and architecture of the website are explained from the perspective of cultural linguistics.
