The article examines the role of the linguistic and cultural approach in teaching Russian as a foreign language in the Algerian audience. To solve this problem, it would be necessary to adapt a reliable method to our students. Thus, the use of the linguistic and cultural approach in the classroom of Russian as a foreign language will undoubtedly contribute to the harmonious development of the student's cultural knowledge and skills.
