Based on the data of cross#sectional epidemiological study, the authors evaluated lipid profile indicators and their relationships with anthropometric parameters of the indigenous rural population (619 people aged 20 years and older) of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). Lipid profile of the indigenous population was characterized by a high concentration of HDL cholesterol, low values of triglycerides and atherogenic index. The prevalence of atherogenic dyslipoproteinemia was 24% in men and 13% in women. The presence of obesity was associated with a high frequency of atherogenic dyslipoproteinemia. The identified disturbances were the manifestations of disadaptation to adverse environmental factors.
