Deprivation of a special, military or honorary title, class rank and state awards in the digital age

The article analyzes the impact of digitalization on the Russian criminal punishment system and examines the possibility of using deprivation of special, military or honorary titles, class rank and state awards at the present stage of society's development. The commission of crimes by new digital means is not considered as a determining reason for changing the existing level of penaliation. The author defines the grounds for imposing the criminal punishment under research, and suggests measures that promote the reasonable application of this punishment using advanced technical achievements.
