False testimony of the accused: procedural, psychological, spiritual and moral aspects

This article examines the possibility of defendants giving false testimony, including those related to incriminating another person in the commission of a crime, based on legal provisions, an analysis of investigative and judicial practice, and psychological, spiritual, and moral foundations. Conclusions are drawn and recommendations for further improvement of criminal proceedings are offered.
