The article shows the data of complex application of ultrasonography and multispiral computed tomography in diagnostics of gastrointestinal stromal tumors. Characteristic diagnostic features of that kind of tumors are discussed. This report underlines the important role of multispiral computed tomography with intravenous contrast and multiplanar image reconstruction in differential diagnostics, in assessment of tumor vasculature, of its cystic cavities and its link with gastrointestinal organs.
