Purpose. The aim of this study was to evaluate the shot-term results of radiation therapy in patients with T-cells and B-cells cutaneous lymphomas. Materials and methods. Radiation therapy of 99 patients with cutaneous lymphomas (T-cells lymphomas 76 patients, B-cells lymphomas -23 patients) was performed by the electron beam of medical accelerator. The summary doses varied from 20 to 46Gy. Results. The immediate results of T-cells lymphomas treatment were complete remissions in 18,4% and partial remissions in 73,9% of patients. Complete and partial remissions were achived in 58,6% and in 13,0% of patients with B-cells lymphomas accordingly. All the patients with follicular B-cell lymphoma were in complete remission after irradiation. The mean duration of the remissions in T-cells lymphoma patients was 7,5-8,7months, in B-cells lymphoma patients 67,4 months. Conclusion. Radiation therapy is the definite and safe treatment modality for local B-cell cutaneous lymphomas and effective palliative treatment modality for T-cells lymphomas patients with patches and/or ulcers.
